"Compassion oriented Thinking" or "Object oriented Thinking"

"Compassion oriented Thinking" or "Object oriented Thinking"

अयं निज: परो वेति गणना लघुचेतसाम् ।
उदारचरितानां तु वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् ॥

Meaning :- "This is mine, that is somebody's else, is the thought of narrow -minded people. For wise and large-hearted ones, the whole world is a family"
Twenty-first century is the age of powerful and passionate technology, where tremendous knowledge and globalisation has eliminated all old boundaries. Today, we know a much bigger dimension of human community. Each one of us is cognizant and understands the biggest challenges of the world. Global collaboration is crucial and unignorable for our individual and united growth and development.
Paradoxically, the biggest problem we face today is not terrorism, lack of education, ebola or any other pandemics but "the problem of human soul". The root cause of this problem is very simple to understand. In this fast paced automation age of "do it yourself", machines and technology have conquered our minds to the extent that we have unknowingly moved from "Compassion oriented thinking" to "Object oriented thinking".
Imagine a situation where you are leading a five-member team. Out of the five, four team members are very inclusive and good performers whereas the fifth team member does not performs well. Now the entire team has complained to you that a very important project deadline has been missed because of the non-performing team member. What would you do?
A leader with "Object oriented thinking" would see the non-performing team member as a "machine" that does not works well for his team and would not mind firing the "non-performer" . Now imagine, if the "non-performer" in your team, was not just any other employee but also your son? Would you fire him from the team? Or, would you forgive his mistakes and help him improve, understand his weaknesses and also encourage your team to help "your son"?
That's all the difference. It is our "relation" to the individual that determines our thinking towards him/her. A leader with "Compassion oriented thinking" unconditionally sees all as his own family members. Whereas a leader with "Object oriented thinking" sees all as objects that he can "use" for his success.
A person who has self-respect and who knows his identity as a soul has "Compassion oriented thinking". Such a leader is a blessing to humanity. Whereas the path of compassion is tough, rather impossible for a leader with "Object oriented thinking". Will a leader with "Object oriented thinking" ever be successful?
Justice can never be done without compassion. So, can one ever be successful by doing injustice to others?
